MintPriced Terms of Use

These terms are between you and Roman Klymentiev ("I", "we"), the individual developer of MintPriced. By using the app you agree to them. Contact: support@mintpriced.com.

1. Who can use it. You must be 18 or older.

2. What the app does. MintPriced uses AI (Google Gemini) to suggest what coin is in your photo: country, denomination, year, variety. Results can be wrong. They are information only, not an appraisal, authentication, grading, or a price or value. Always confirm the year and mint mark yourself, and check with a qualified dealer or grading service before buying, selling or insuring a coin. Results that mention a possible rare variety or error are only a hint.

2a. Value estimates and extra photos. "Find value" shows typical price ranges built from public market data and catalog sources. They are information only, not an appraisal or an offer to buy or sell; real prices depend on condition and the buyer. Catalog data for non-US coins comes from Numista (numista.com) and is credited where shown. When a result is unsure, the app may ask for up to 2 extra photos or one retake of the same coin; an extra check is counted once and is subject to daily and monthly fair-use limits. Collections, badges and challenges are kept on your phone only, have no monetary value and can't be bought, sold or exchanged.

3. Free use and Pro. - Free: a limited number of scans per month (shown in the app; currently 7). - MintPriced Pro: auto-renewing subscription, $4.99 per month or $29.99 per year (price shown in your local currency by Google Play before you buy). Billed by Google Play to your Google account at confirmation; renews automatically at the same price each period until you cancel. No free trial. - Cancel anytime in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions (link in Settings). You keep Pro until the end of the paid period. Deleting the app doesn't cancel. - Refunds follow Google Play's refund policies; you can request one through Google Play. We may grant refunds in our discretion. - Fair use: Pro is for personal use. To keep the service fast for everyone, after 30 scans in a day Pro scans are limited to 1 per minute, and Pro includes up to 300 scans per month. Automated or bulk use, sharing accounts, or reselling results is not allowed. - Prices and features may change; price changes follow Google Play's notice rules.

4. Your photos and content. You keep your rights in your photos. You give us permission to process them to provide the service (including sending them to our AI provider), and, only if you turn on photo sharing, to store and use them to improve recognition. Only upload photos you have the right to use. Don't upload photos of people, documents or anything illegal.

5. Acceptable use. No reverse engineering, abuse of limits, attacks on our servers, or using the app to break the law. We may suspend access that breaks these terms or harms the service.

6. Availability. The service may be paused (for example during maintenance or high load) and may change or end. If we end Pro, we'll stop renewals and handle the remaining paid period as Google Play allows.

7. Reporting. Use "Report this result" in the app or email us about wrong or inappropriate results.

8. Privacy. See our Privacy Policy at mintpriced.com/privacy.

9. Disclaimers. The app is provided "as is" without warranties of accuracy or fitness for a purpose, to the extent the law allows.

10. Limit of liability. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including losses from buying or selling coins based on results, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.

11. Law and disputes. These terms are governed by the laws of Greece, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Before bringing a claim, please email support@mintpriced.com and give us 30 days to try to resolve it. The courts of Greece have non-exclusive jurisdiction. Nothing in this section takes away the mandatory consumer protections of the US state where you live, or your right to bring a claim in small-claims court in your state.

12. Changes. We may update these terms; we'll show important changes in the app. Continued use means you accept them.
